Plumbing RPL
If you have practical plumbing experience — residential, commercial, or drainage — RPL allows you to obtain a nationally recognised plumbing and drainage qualification based on your existing skills and work history, without returning to formal training.
Important note: Plumbing licensing in Australia is state-regulated and typically involves additional requirements beyond the qualification alone (including supervised work hours and additional assessments in some states). Fast RPL can assist with the qualification component and advise on the specific licensing pathway in your state.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is a plumbing qualification the same as a plumbing licence?
No. A plumbing and drainage qualification is a trade qualification issued by an RTO. A plumbing licence is issued by your state’s regulatory authority (e.g. NSW Fair Trading, QBCC in QLD) and typically requires the qualification plus additional supervised work hours and assessments. Fast RPL delivers the qualification — we can also advise on your state’s licensing pathway.
